The Basics Collection Twin Captains Bed in Natural finish is constructed from Birch hardwood. The bed features a wood slat roll, which eliminates the need for a box spring. The Captains Bed is the perfect combination of storage and sleep and includes 2 doors at the foot of the bed for easy storage access and 1 under-bed case. The under-bed case features a 4-drawer storage and center door compartment. Under-bed case can be positioned on either left of right side.

Bed Construction:

• Bedrails are made of veneered plywood – not MDF or solids – to prevent warping and splitting.
• All beds feature metal hardware for attaching side-rails to bed ends.
• All bedrails have support brackets on ends so barrel bolts rest on metal, not wood.
• All beds feature wood slat-rolls with canvas stretchers. 2 screws per slat.
• Front and back dovetail drawer box construction, center support on bottom panels.
• 5 part drawer box construction with the front panel screwed, not staples or glued, to the drawer box.
• 5 separate screws hold the drawer front panel to the drawer box.
• Side-mounted, metal drawer guides with automatic drawer stops.
• Constructed of birch hardwood.
