The Designs Collection Student Loft in Cocoa finish is constructed from Birch hardwood. The top and bottom twin beds feature a wood slat roll, which eliminates the need for a box spring. The Student loft is one of the most versatile sleep, study, and storage solutions. The Student Loft features a desk with pull-out keyboard tray and 3 desk drawers, a 5-drawer storage chest with attached shelving, a top bunk, and a bottom bed on casters. The chest and desk unit can be reversed to sit on either side.

This student loft can be ordered with or without the lower bed. The above price is without the lower bed.

Construction:

• Bedrails are made of veneered plywood – not MDF or solids – to prevent warping and splitting.
• All beds feature metal hardware for attaching side-rails to bed ends.
• All bedrails have support brackets on ends so barrel bolts rest on metal, not wood.
• All beds feature wood slat-rolls with canvas stretchers. 2 screws per slat.
• Guard rails and ladders are screwed or bolted to bed rails or bed ends.
• Front and back dovetail drawer box construction, center support on bottom panels.
• 5 part drawer box construction with the front panel screwed, not staples or glued, to the drawer box.
• 5 separate screws hold the drawer front panel to the drawer box.
• Side-mounted, metal drawer guides with automatic drawer stops.
• Back panel is inserted, glued, and screwed.
• Constructed of birch hardwood.
